- SShelettevipEast Texas •25 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited to celebrate the man’s birthday. We arrived early since we planned to visit a couple of other places afterward. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The space is really spacious. We dined in the main dining room, and the service was excellent. The host, servers, and manager were all very friendly. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu pigs in a blanket and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I had a shot of tequila, while the man enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an IPA. The appetizers were delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the honey mustard crème sauce that came with the pigs in a blanket, but I definitely enjoyed them without the sauce. For our main dishes, we had the roasted salmon and steak frites. The salmon had a perfectly crispy top layer and was cooked to a perfect medium. It was delicious! It came with butternut squash farro, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about, but it was interesting. The steak frites were flavorful and also cooked to a perfect medium. Very tasty. Unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert. We spent about $190, including the tip. After we paid, we went to check out the rooftop. It was stunning—spacious, with tables and seating perfectly arranged to showcase the beautiful city skyline and lights. We grabbed two more drinks at the bar and soaked in the view, spending another $35 with tip. We would definitely return and plan to opt for rooftop dining next time. Highly recommend!More infoCulinary Dropout – DallasPrice: Moderate• American• Design District•4.5
