- SSandyCentral Kentucky •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI’m so glad I chose this restaurant for my mom‘s 80th birthday! The food was amazing! The service was amazing! The online pictures of the restaurant itself on the inside, did not do it justice. Loved the ambience. Dress was from very casual to semi formal, as we went at Christmas time and there were a lot of corporate Christmas parties. It was a beautiful setting with a lovely Christmas tree that everyone wanted to take pictures in front of. I highly recommend!More infoRiver House Restaurant & Raw BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown Louisville•4.7

The special butternut squash and sausage with béchamel was rich and tasty, and two members of our party loved the burger and truffle fries. Such a winning combination, the house cocktail is one of my favorite drinks in town. We passed on dessert, having started with the satisfying feta dip.More infoThe Fat LambPrice: Expensive• American• Highlands - Bardstown Rd / Taylorsville Rd•4.6

We started with Old Fashioneds featuring Habanero Bitters—a creative and delightful twist on a classic cocktail. For appetizers, the Crawfish Bayou Dip was absolutely delicious. The seasonal salad was light, crisp, and the perfect prelude to our entrees. From the Bayou menu, we tried the Jambalaya and the Etouffée, both of which were bursting with flavor and exceeded our expectations. Everything was impeccable, and we can’t wait to return the next time we’re in Louisville!More infoLou Lou on MarketPrice: Moderate• Cajun• East Market St - NuLu•4.6

Such a unique and fun atmosphere to eat in the old fire station. Highly recommend!More infoThe Silver DollarPrice: Expensive• American• Butchertown•4.5
