General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. Had a great first experience at Sunny’s Chinese. We had a very attentive server who walked us through the menu. We choose the chef’s tasting menu, the dishes were well curated and had the perfect portion size. The flavor profile for each dish was unique and the dessert was the best. Overall a great experience will visit again!

Service was incredible. Michelle was attentive and thorough, kind and welcoming. We loved the halibut with the creamed leeks, as well as the lemon posset for dessert. Overall it was a perfect meal with perfect drinks. We will definitely be back.

Incredible experience, where you allow the staff to choose the plates for you. The steamed mussels with sweet potato and the lamb toast were our favourites. I’ll definitely be back!
