- KKevinVIPWashington, D.C. Area •47 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was a nice quiet atmosphere for a lunch with friends. I’ve had many pleasant experiences at La Tomate and this was no exception. One suggestion is to give diners more time to review the menu before ordering. Overall, though, a very nice meal and surroundings. I need to remember that this oasis is right in my neighborhood and I should go more often.More infoLa TomatePrice: Expensive• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.8
- HHaleySan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy fiancé and I had an amazing experience dining here. The food was outstanding, but so was everything else. The attention to detail was impressive. As soon as we stepped through the door, we were given a short tour of the restaurant which made us feel welcome and at home. This is not a pretentious place even though the food is world-class. We hope to come back again sometime!More infoCausaPrice: Very Expensive• Peruvian• Shaw•4.9
- CCARLOSVIPWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food and service were outstanding; we had the crudo yellowfin as appetizer the branzino fish as entree, both were delicious. The cocktails finally were served on the right glasses this time which was much appreciated: everything was top notch and we felt very well received and taken care of by the receptionist on a very busy holiday season day.More infoCentrolinaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Penn Quarter•4.6
- DDavidVIPWashington, D.C. Area •49 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoPhilomena is a pillar in the DC community and for great reason. When you first walk down the, many steps, you enter your known as house. During the holiday season, the restaurant is decorated from head to toe with Christmas celebration. The staff are all extremely courteous and helpful And always dressed amazingly. The food is outstanding. All portions are large enough to share so get a few dishes and let your table enjoy old world Italian cuisine. Anything on the menu is a score in my book. But don’t forget always leave room for dessert. The cannoli are amazing!More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
- JJenniferWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. Loved the esthetic appropriately decorated for Christmas. Our server Merybeth was exceptional! She was welcoming very attentive, and anticipated our needs. Merybeth made our whole experience rate it 5 stars. Now the food, we ordered the Tomahawk steak with Zanahorias al carbon(roasted heirloom carrots) and papa al horno(wood-fired baked potato). The steak was cooked at medium temperature, juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. The steak was infused with herbs flambé at our table side which made the experience exquisite! We also ordered the Queso fundido with beef and ceviche Amarillo which very delicious. Everything was beautifully plated! We will definitely be coming back!More infodLeñaPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Mount Vernon Square•4.7
