Best Brunch Restaurants in South Indy

The Salmon is AMAZING! Such a perfect combination of flavors! Don’t skip the friend green tomato appetizer- it is special! As always the fried chicken and spare ribs are insane! The only thing I would change would be lower lighting - the ambiance could use it -

The decor is always amazing. It’s like being immersed in a winter wonderland. The chicken velvet soup is the best! Our server was prompt. The portions were plenty so we had to take our cake home. I would highly recommend either the millionaire or red velvet cakes!

Dining here is an experience, not just a meal out. The opportunity to see the DeHahn mansion and artwork and views in the heart of Indianapolis warrants the price. The food was delicious and the wine list is excellent with wines, like Schramsburg, (served at every White Housebinnauguration since Nixon) isnt always easy to find in Indy. It’s not just a meal out. It’s a treat!

Environment and food were exceptional. Unfortunately, although our waitress was friendly, I think she may have been overwhelmed and she didn’t check in enough and tended to disappear. Overall, the Oakmont is still a great Indy brunch spot that I recommend.

The aesthetics were very nice, the food was amazing and our waitress Raizel was outstanding. I had the Pancake Tacos and my daughter had the Brie Stuffed French Toast. The pancake was amazing and fluffy, not dense and heavy. It was filled with egg, crumbled sausage, bacon and a little cheese…delicious! My daughter had the Brie Stuffed French Toast with Berries which was a nice mixture of sweet with savory of the Brie! Also quite delicious! Our waitress was friendly and professional, she was attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be going back and asking specifically for Raizel!
