We really appreciated her service! All of the staff who recognize us go out of their way to come and say Hi. Kyle, RJ, Brandon, Lauren, Meg, they always welcome us with a smile and great service.More infoGravity Heights Sorrento ValleyPrice: Moderate• American• Sorrento Mesa•4.6

The margarita pizza was very good, but we split that as well, plenty of food. Very happy and a nice place to drop in!More infoBarbarellaPrice: Moderate• European• La Jolla•4.2

Everything was exquisite and beautifully presented, thoroughly explained, and happily enjoyed. We weren’t made to feel rushed which is so important when enjoying tea with a friend. The manager Jenna checked on our table and cheerfully asked for our feedback. We were incredibly impressed with their desire to improve what is already a phenomenal experience. My only recommendation to handicap patrons is that the parking is further down and the entrance without stairs is on the side. They were very accommodating and allowed us in 3 minutes before opening so we wouldn’t have to stand in the cold wind with our canes. Definitely empathetic people that prioritize customer service. I’m pretty sure we just found our new favorite neighborhood restaurant!!!!More infoCalifornia EnglishPrice: Expensive• American• Sorrento Mesa•4.6
- JJayVIPLos Angeles •10 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025I love this hotel ! The decor is absolutely beautiful at the Fairmont Grande! The Amaya is in the hotel. We were there on a Friday night. I couldn't believe how uncrowded it was. If you like quiet, uncrowded elegance and delicious food this is a go-to. The Amaya is a beautiful restaurant. My only critique is that the lighting could have been just a little dimmer to enhance the romantic feel of the restaurant. Otherwise I love everything about this hotel. Even the decor in the restroom is a work of art.More infoAmaya at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• French• Carmel Valley•4.1
