Best Brunch Restaurants in Ditmars Steinway

AMAZING! Must try and worth the wait! Definitely going back and ordering the Roasted Chicken.

Exceeded our expectations. We chose to experience this iconic restaurant with our son to celebrate a special occasion, but the experience was more than anticipated. Service was EXCEPTIONAL, the food was delicious, perfectly executed and served with excellent timing. Manager checks table side, friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, STILL a fantastic restaurant. Definitely worth its pedigree of long term respect. Not just a tourist attraction…definitely worth a visit for anyone wanting a special dining experience in a lovely setting.

For never having been to a drag show in my 53 years, I feel like I've been missing out after attending Rise's Drag Brunch! It was a phenomenal show! We were celebrating my sister's bday and the two queens made sure to involve her as much as she'd allow. They really interacted with the whole audience. The venue was perfect, on the small side so it seemed more of an intimate experience. The food was delicious! The whole experience was great! I'd definitely recommend it for a really fun, different thing to do!

My family and I went to Tru Astoria last night for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Tru team was very welcoming and the service was excellent. The music and the vibe were so awesome. We ordered appetizers (Fried calamari, Caesar salad and grilled octopus). The portions were all large and very tasty. For dinner we ordered Spicy Rigatoni, Tru Burger with fries, Salmon with cilantro mashed potatoes and Lamp Chops with lemon potatoes. OMG! Everything was so delicious!!!! I didn’t have dessert (because I was too full) but my husband and sons did. They had the cheesecake topped with blueberries and strawberries on the side and a chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream. They enjoyed their desserts very much! The staff even surprised my husband with birthday torches which made him feel special. The owner even came over to thank us for dining there and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed the food. We missed the live music which was going to start around 10 pm but we left around 9:30 pm. We will DEFINITELY be going back there. Great celebration restaurant. Tip: Street parking is not that great in the area but there is a Municipal Parking lot a couple blocks away on 33rd Street right off Ditmars.

I planned a Brunch for my best friends Birthday and Retirement. I became ill and wasn't able to make it. She told me her waitresses were excellent made her feel special . She had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious and she was very Happy and had a great time. Only downfall the DJ she said let switching the music too fast.
