- LLulaNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was absolutely wonderful. From the staff to the food. They put me in a separate room that was beautiful to open up my birthday gifts. We are differently dining again.More infoDesi Vega's Steakhouse - MandevillePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Covington•4.8
- SSuziNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was EXCELLENT, food & service. The only downfall was the hostess. She is an elderly lady with a sourpuss attitude! She was extremely rude when we arrived. And that is the initial impression. We had a reservation but 3 people had the flu and were not able to attend. I tried calling more than once to change it, but no one answered the phone. So upon our entrance, we told them. She was RUDE and absolutely unprofessional. And she remained that way till we were seated. I’m sure she must be family, because if you read the reviews she is complained about frequently! The management needs to talk to her about her attitude. Some people might just leave after having to deal with her!More infoImpastato CellarsPrice: Moderate• Italian• Madisonville•4.7

I would suggest making a reservation as it was full when we dined on a Friday. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great, tasty drinks (the Tavi Spritz is my new favorite drink) and good advice on food. We started with the half order of fried chicken hummus. Creamy hummus topped with chucks of fried chicken and amazing salsa verde. So good! The fresh pita and olive oil and spices served with it were perfect. I loved the crispy halloumi. Crispy and hot drizzled with honey and on the best citrus and nut base. Every bite was a flavor bomb. ❤️ The lamb kofta had nice char and flavor , served on some spicy spread with tomatoes and yogurt to cool it off. The sujuk pide is big. A thin bread wrapped around tender meat and cheese with tomatoes on top. Filling but so good! We didn’t have room for dessert because we enjoyed the lunch so much. I would definitely go back and try more. And more crispy halloumi!More infoShayaPrice: Expensive• Israeli• Uptown•4.9
