- CChelsyLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited Fogo on Christmas Day not sure what to expect. We visit Fogo 2-3 times a year for special celebrations but we have never had such a wonderful experience as we did on Christmas Day! The service was INCREDIBLE, the food service was maybe the fasted we’ve ever experienced, and the table side holiday drink service was such a treat! We plan to make this an annual tradition!More infoFogo de Chao - San AntonioPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Downtown•4.4

Every server we’ve had is attentive, knows the menu intimately and makes us feel welcome. The food is great and favorite items are reliably as they were on previous visits. I am not a particularly adventurous eater so I find this a comforting attribute. Others may see it differently. Menu changes appear to be mostly limited to tinkering with sides or appetizers, so if you liked it the first time, you needn’t worry about being the victim of the whims of a chef seeking notoriety.More infoMaverick Texas BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Downtown•4.6

We accidentally booked the tamale kit meal thinking it was a set menu. And it was a giant party tray of tamales and no reservation. My wife and I decided to gift the kitchen with the tamales since we couldn’t eat all of them (it was a ton of food). Instead we rebooked our reservation for a few minutes later and they comped our meals and drinks! (We didn’t ask, it was a huge surprise for us). We had the crudo, the halibut and short ribs. My wife have eaten at Michelin star rated places in Paris and what ocho offered us was just as good if not better. That was some of the best food, service and experience we’ve ever have had. If you want a great experience, go to Ocho! Just don’t… uh… be dingdongs like us and order the tamale kit that could have fed an army :DMore infoOcho at Hotel HavanaPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Downtown•4.5
