- CCarolynDenver / Colorado •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLe Monde, a long-time resident of Morningside Heights, was full of festivity and rich, French food on Christmas. The pinot noir was top-notch. My guy had escargot, followed by a duck main course, and I had the salmon over spinach with a sauce I can't remember before we shared a chocolate mousse. We're glad we went early, because a lot of time for digestion was required. Our only criticism was that the guitar-player who sang wonderful tunes, mostly in French, was amplified, and we could barely hear each other. Minus the amplification, this would have been a plus, and I'm sure it was only for the holiday. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we'd do it again.More infoLe MondePrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.6
- SSandraNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAmazing holiday classic! The decor is just amazing- beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was equally amazing. We had the tomahawk steak special with three included sides. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The lobster Mac and cheese and vegetables were delicious and the presentation was worthy of photos which didn’t do it justice. The service was friendly but efficient. We will be back.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
