Best Brunch Restaurants in Manningtree

We had a lovely meal next to the log burner which made it so cosy on a very cold night. The food was delicious and we had a great welcome from the serving staff.

Having travelled to London in the past and enjoyed afternoon teas in various locations, we were very pleased that the newly opened Canterbury Ivy were offering Afternoon Tea. We cannot speak too highly of our whole experience. The three tiered selection, together with side plate of warm scones, all looked and tasted delicious - the savoury and sweet items, each with its own lovely flavours. The service was excellent - efficient, friendly and helpful, all of which created a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning

We were a table of 18 dining to celebrate a birthday. Without asking we were offered the private dining room upstairs and having ordered in advance all the adult meals everything just ran so smoothly. From the moment we were greeted at the door we were made to feel welcome, valued and comfortable. The service was brilliant and relaxed in a great way with 6 children to cater for too. Nothing was too much trouble and the birthday sundae wowed us all! Thank you Nicole and all the team. You did a wonderful job.

Absolutely outstanding, best afternoon tea I’ve ever been to and worth every penny. The food was amazing, the staff couldn’t have been better. The thought and detail that goes into the themes is breathtaking. I cannot wait to return! Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
