- BBCornwall •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoTried The Longstore after it was recommended by a colleague. First impression was great, a large woodburner keeping it warm, comfortable chairs and a very nice staff. Although the music was to our taste, it was a tiny bit too loud but they happily turned it down a notch on request. The food was outstanding. We had scallops to start, then Rib Eye steak. I asked to have an extra salad rather than the bits that came with the steak and I must say it was the most delicious salad I have ever had and a massive portion too! I hardly ever tip, but today they got a well deserved 10%. Definitely going back!More infoThe Longstore, CharlestownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• St. Austell•4.6
- FFrancescaVIPCornwall •5 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoReally good food as always. Service was good. Menu has recently changed; the belly pork starter has gone which is disappointing. Children’s meals excellent, although would be good to not have salt added to children’s meals- meant the youngest refused to eat most of it as I’d forgotten to point out no salt. Over all really good. Not the best experience we’ve had, but that’s because the bar was set exceptionally high earlier in 2024 on a previous visit. Bring back belly pork asap please!More infoPorthgwidden Beach CaféPrice: Expensive• Fish• St Ives•4.6
- SSharonBristol •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Food and service was good but could have been better. The lamb on the main course was very well cooked with no pink meat at all, they then forgot to deliver one desert. Unfortunately there was a group of 4 males in the bar who were slightly intoxicated and being extremely loud and swearing constantly to the point that several customers moved seats away from them.More infoTurks Head PenzancePrice: Moderate• Pub• Penzance•4.6
- WWilliamCornwall •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas High Tea! From the first moment the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we were seated at a lovely table. They catered for our dietary requirements with ease, everything was delicious, we were in heaven. There was plenty to choose from and it was all fantastic quality. Your pastry chef is obviously very talented. The presentation of the hight tea was lovely and it really didn't disappoint, we couldn't find fault. The only thing I would say is that we should be able to add a tip if paying by card as your staff deserve one for their amazing service.More infoHarbour Loft - St Michaels MountPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Marazion•4.9
