The food, the service, the beauty of the art deco surroundings dressed up for Christmas made for a joyful and memorable experience for our three-generation family gathering. - OTOpenTable DinerColumbus •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were there Saturday reservation 11 AM. They got us right to our table. They are family friendly got to see Santa with a six-year-old special-needs child. Other families were there too. Thank you for the wonderful hosts in the front, our waitress and the manager Darrell for their hospitality. If you prefer not to be around the children, the restaurant is so big. There’s lots of other quiet places to sit.More infoMoerlein Lager HousePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Cincinnati•4.6
- AAndrewVIPCincinnati / Dayton •27 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is my 2nd visit to Alcove. They do a great job of making great food without being pretentious. The menu is varied in that you can spend a little more money, but also have a tasty sandwiches. This meal pleased all - dad with steak frites (a perfect med rare!), massive chicken sandwich and cod sandwiches for the kids, and a lovely chicken with pumpkin gnocchi for the Mrs. These were enjoyed by all. Dessert was cheesecake and chocolate cake were very good and just the right size. I don't want to forget about the "... by MadTree" part - the drinks and cocktails are anchored by MadTree craft beer as well as Sway. I went with the classic Identity Crisis and Holly Days. The kids loved their mocktails. The cocktail look great and perhaps next time I will venture that way.More infoAlcove by MadTreePrice: Moderate• American• Cincinnati•4.7

The server made great suggestions (risotto balls were delish and came out speedily after we ordered). I enjoyed my burger (dirty something ...) and friends thought their dishes were good too. Also raves all around for more fun cocktails here.....More infoSacred Beast DinerPrice: Moderate• American• Over the Rhine•4.7
