Best Authentic Restaurants in Wilmette

Cupitol is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch. The food and coffee are simply outstanding—everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, a casual brunch, or a work session with great Wi-Fi, Cupitol always delivers. What truly sets them apart is their attention to detail and commitment to quality. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, making every visit an enjoyable experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend!

We went there for my wife’s birthday. Service, drinks and entrées were great. I had the moussaka which was one of the best I’ve ever had and my wife had the Bronzino which she said it was very flavorful. I told them ahead of time it was my wife’s birthday. They brought us what they called a “cheesecake“ with a candle in it. I believe they call it some type of Greek cheesecake. I hate to say this but it was inedible. Not good at all. We wound up ordering gelato instead which was delicious. But I was surprised when they charged us $14 for the birthday cheesecake which was never communicated to me. Don’t get me wrong, this place is really really good. But I would avoid the “birthday cheesecake” and they should’ve communicated that they were charging us $14 for it.

First time to Kabul House. Will definitely be back. Everything about lunch there was outstanding: quality of food, service, noise level, value.

Everything was so delicious.. compliments to the chef ! It’s great place for a date night. We’ll be back!!
