Best Authentic Restaurants in Alveston

Carluccios at Stratford Upon Avon is reliable and never disappoints. Excellent staff, consistently good food and very good with young children and families,( not always the case with UK restaurants sadly).

We enjoyed lovely starters and mains from the Thai menu. Good choices available for both vegetarians and vegans. The table was available at the booked time and service was excellent.

Spanish food done properly. Friendly atmosphere with excellent food and wine options. Tables a bit close to each other but that’s my only complaint as everything else was spot on. Service was professional and friendly (multilingual too!), food was served beautifully to match the flavour and I will be definitely coming back for more!

Well everything was great until we had a load of loud customers come and sit next to us - we were having a date night and had not seen each other for several days. Can’t be helped …but sitting next to a Christmas party is never fun! ( but it pays the bills for the restaurant- everything else was as wonderful as ever!

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
