- SSaraVIPDenver / Colorado •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThassos never ceases to amaze! How refreshing to find a restaurant that understands the importance of good service. Did I mention the food? I tried the meatballs with red sauce for the first time (I make a point to try something new every time I go to Thassos) and my goodness what flavor! I always recommend this place to my friends and family, and I plan to be a returning customer for a long time! More infoThassos Authentic Greek RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Greek• Clarendon Hills•4.7

Another thing that was similar to a past Cooper's Hawk experience was that we had to wait 15 minutes with a reservation. The restaurant was fairly empty at 4:00 pm and the hostess told us they're just clearing our table when we checked in right at our reservation time, but we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Not really a big deal, but it's not a pleasant experience when you had a time reserved and you're waiting fairly long to finally be seated. We had the Pasta Fagioli, which was fantastic, and the short rib papardelle and rigatoni alla vodka, both of which were soooo good and light. It didn't feel heavy like normal when eating pasta. The chocolate hazelnut cake and gelato trio was also delicious! Our server, Robert R., was friendly and helpful! He didn't rush us at all and was honest and knowledgeable. The restaurant is in the Oak Brook Mall area, so parking can be a challenge.More infoPiccolo Buco - Oak Brook, ILPrice: Moderate• Italian• Oakbrook Terrace•4.5
- AAimeeVIPChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom beginning to end, it was a great dinner. We arrived early for our reservation so found seats at the bar. Cocktails were all very good. They had a great list of mock tails too. Violi has a really cool vibe, but the conversation is loud if that bothers you. Great service. Plates are designed to share and all 6 of us did. We liked everything we tried from the lamb shank to branzino and the mousaka. Will definitely return !More infoVIOLIPrice: Moderate• Greek• Oakbrook Terrace•4.6
- SSusanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoLast year i went on new years day and it was way less like 120 for 2 people. 150 w tip. This new years day. I was not told it would be additional holiday pricing. It cost me 211 w tip for 2 people. used to be 50 per dinner then it had gone up to 60 then 70 now 80 on holidays. Its good but becoming way overpriced. Why so many changes. Also last yr dinner was going on at 4 430. I went in today and was told it was not open til 5 but there were reservation options listed for the whole day online. Servers were not as nice as usualMore infoChama Gaucha - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steak• Downers Grove•4.6
