- RReneHouston •7 reviews5.0Dined todayWe did not know a band would be playing. We were there on a Thursday night, and the website and reviews do not mention that. We were seated right in front of the band, who were doing sound checks while we had appetizers. But, the band stopped with the sound checks. Our appetizers arrived, and they were wonderful. My wife had something called Sopes de Hongos (mushrooms on top of a sort of bread with a sauce) which were truly special. The band started playing around the time we ordered our main courses. They were not as loud as I expected them to be, and were really quite enjoyable. Our main courses were superb, especially my Callo de Hacha (scallops). Desserts were also wonderful, and the Tres Leches with pumpkin whipped cream was another wonder. Next time I will call ahead and find out if there is going to be music, and I will request a table further from the band. I will note that the band was great, but we were closer than ideal.More infoXalisko Cocina MexicanaPrice: Expensive• Mexican• The Woodlands•4.7

Customers were noted to inquire on the status of their orders. I would suggest that the servers clear up the table to allow for new orders to “fit” in the space.More infoNorth Italia - WoodlandsPrice: Moderate• Italian• The Woodlands•4.6
- JJeffDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoOne of the best experiences I have had in a long time. It was worth every penny and when we are back in Texas we will be revisiting this wonderful restaurant again. Everything that we ordered was top notch. Oysters, gumbo, fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, and dessert were all cooked to perfection, and you can tell the chefs take great pride in their craft. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you are lucky enough to get Nikole as your waitress you will be amazed with her knowledge, kindness, attention to detail, and passion for good food and wine. I'd give it 6 stars if it was possible.More infoSchilleci's New Orleans KitchenPrice: Expensive• Seafood• The Woodlands•4.9

- KKrissyHouston •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024Great place! We are always looking for those “keepers,” and this place is definitely that. The ambiance was hopping for a Friday night - reservations highly recommended-level of business. The chef came out and spoke with us, incredibly friendly and obviously takes pride in his restaurant. What seemed to be the manager was floating around fully engaged with all wait staff, customers, hosts, etc. staff seemed content, hearing the happy calls from the open kitchen. Food was absolutely delicious! I had the featured special Pollo Toscano, my husband had the Pollo Carbonara. Both amazing. I tried the Blueberry Lemontini, and it was a little tart for my taste, but a good combination of flavors. We also ordered the Chicken Crochettas with the alioli sauce for appetizer. *Chef’s kiss* delicioso!! I honestly wish Dolce Niente was a little closer to us and/or larger. They are certainly going places! The decor is beautiful and it is obvious they have taken care of all decor details, from the table lamps to the chandeliers, to the framed pictures hung in the restrooms. The restrooms were very cozy as well. Well done, folks!!More infoDolce NientePrice: Moderate• Italian• Spring•4.8
