Fabulous food, attentive staff, and great atmosphere for Christmas Eve with family. Would absolutely recommend to a friend ❤️More infoCarlucci - RosemontPrice: Expensive• Italian• Rosemont•4.7
- TTimothyChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoEdelweiss is the best German restaurant in the Chicagoland area. It’s authentic with an outstanding staff who serve you with kindness and professionalism. The food is the star. I had the roasted duck with orange sauce and it was superb. With spaetzel and red cabbage to round it out, it was magnificent.More infoEdelweiss RestaurantPrice: Moderate• German• Norridge•4.6
- TTeriNew York City •31 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024Went to celebrate closing on our new house. Tasty seasonal martinis. We had baked clams. Salmon arrostì and Walleye arrostì . Both delicious. Pistachio cheesecake for dessert. A winner. It was crowded for a Tuesday night so a little noisy. Seasonal merriment.More infoNonna Silvias Trattoria and PizzeriaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Park Ridge•4.8
- RRonnaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was a lovely afternoon. The servers were quick with anything we needed and were always friendly. They were also helpful - my husband asked for Turkish coffee and the server responded that black coffee was included but there would be an extra charge for Turkish. Totally reasonable and I appreciated not getting a surprise added charge later. The food was solid, especially the cold apps/salads, cig kofte, lentil soup, bread basket, and the two meats made from ground meat. It's tough to prepare food for such a large group, so not surprising that the chicken kebabs were drier than I'd like. I was sad not to see any lamachun available, as it was listed. But that's okay as that's also something that's better when it's piping hot. At no point did anyone indicate that they needed our table, which can be a concern both at buffets and on holidays. We were able to relax between courses and enjoy the holiday as a family. I'd happily return!More infoA Thousand TalesPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Mount Prospect•4.4
