Wished there was more but as a fan, I would not have been disappointed knowing this ahead of time so be prepped with the correct appetite. Broth was out of this world. Egg was jammy and perfect. A true passionate chef with a vision to deliver.More infoAkahoshi RamenPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Logan Square•4.8
- KKarenVIPChicago / Illinois •24 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIt has been several years since we dined here. We remembered the food being delicious, but the service felt very rushed. This time, I am happy to write. the service was better this time. The food and cocktails were more delicious than we remembered. We ordered the escargot, Lyonnaise salad and oxtail bourginoun(?). The escargot is probably the best we've had in Chicago. Lyonnaise was very good, but a bit too much vinegar in the dressing for my taste . The oxtail was incredibly tender and delicious, and definitely plenty for two people. We did not have dessert, as we were completely full. We will definitely return again in the near future.More infoLe Bouchon - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• French• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.8
- JJeffreyVIPChicago / Illinois •16 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe have been dining at Mon Ami Gabi for decades. We think they lost their footing a bit post-pandemic, but on our last visits, we have felt reassured that they're back on their game. We were greeted by name by the host/manager . We then had a delicious meal, expert and friendly service and the room had a pleasant vibe. Our only issue was with the 3.5% surcharge on the bill (which we asked to have removed). We have no issue with these kinds of charges at smaller, independent restaurants. But with large corporate chains like Lettuce Entertain You, we find them problematic. We would rather give more to the team who was servicing our table. Even so, we look forward to returning.More infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
