Best Authentic Restaurants in Oak Park

The ambiance and drinks was really good! The steak and chicken fajitas were good as well just would have liked the veggies cooked more. I thought the menu had more of a selection but it didn’t. I would definitely go back for the drinks!! Oh the Ceviche was bomb and guacamole was good as well. 8/10

This neighborhood restaurant rivals any experience downtown! The staff is very attentive and friendly. We have so many menu favorites. For an appetizer, the ropa vieja with a side of guacamole and an order of queso fundido are delicious and a great way to start your meal. The mole sauce on the chicken enchiladas is excellent paired with a side of elote. Other entree favorites are the carne asada, barbacoa tocos and fire roasted shrimp. I love this Mexican restaurant with a Latin influence!

We love the variety and flavor, both in cocktails and menu. We visit often because they have a kids menu, perfect for our toddler. She devoured their kids pizza and ice cream and for this reason the restaurant is one of our favs! The service people are attentive, kind and friendly. We're fans of the piñata cocktail, aguacate salad, calabaza, and the fish tacos. For dessert, the nieve frito is delicious.

Was generally welcoming and nice. Couple of dishes were not as wonderful as expected though a couple were great. Will come back. O
