- LLisaVIPPhiladelphia County •20 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had come into Philly to enjoy some holiday shopping and I thought Dandelion would be a nice, cozy spot for lunch on a cold December day. It was perfect! We were shown to a lovely corner booth upstairs where every table was full, but the noise level was a non-issue. Bella proved to be a knowledgeable and professional server and had good suggestions regarding beverages and menu selections. I enjoyed the salmon pate and my husband's burger was terrific. It was the typical Stephen Starr restaurant experience: creative, authentic decor; well-trained professional staff; and great food.More infoThe DandelionPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Center City•4.7

The food was excellent, especially the lamb vindaloo. I like how they rated the spice level from 1-5, with medium (3) level working well for me. We had lemon ginger mocktails which were excellent. Next visit, I will try a cocktail. For the high quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, the prices were reasonable. There is an upstairs area which would be nice for a party. I am already looking forward to a return visit.More infoSura Indian BistroPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Indian• Center City•4.5

The eggplant special was phenomenal, filetto is define, and Cesar salad is just the best. The pastas are hand maid, and the chicken Milanese is amazing. We love that Chef Steve visits each table and that David and the rest of the staff are personable and attentive. A family favorite for more than 20 years! Thank you, Porcini! And the tiramisu!More infoPorcini - PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Center City•4.9
