- FFrankLondon •10 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025We regularly go here after visiting The Young Vic. There’s always a warm welcome, great food and efficient service. The room can feel a bit tight and noisy when full - which it usually is - but that’s no bad thing on a street with plenty of alternatives! As a vegetarian, I always have some good options from the ‘Garden’ section of the menu, but who wouldn’t want more?! A good chickpea dish, for example, or beans? But the tortilla, escalivada (peppers, onions, aubergines and tomatoes) and berenjenas (battered aubergines) will always keep me happy - and the vegetarian paella is fantastic!More infoMeson Don FelipePrice: Moderate• Spanish• Waterloo•4.4

- AAaminaLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024Dining at Kitchen India was an absolute delight from start to finish. To begin, I was served a plate of mini pappadoms accompanied by a variety of three flavorful dips. Each dip was unique and bursting with flavor, setting the tone for the meal ahead. For the appetizers, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken, and it was nothing short of perfection. The chicken was tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection with just the right balance of spices. Next, I tried the Chilli Chicken, which delivered an authentic and bold taste. It was a bit on the spicier side, making it an excellent choice for spice lovers. However, if you prefer milder flavors, you might want to skip this dish. But for those who enjoy a kick of spice, it's a must-try! Moving on to the main course, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, and it was phenomenal. The fragrant rice was infused with a medley of spices, and the chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. To complement the biryani, I tried the Cheese Garlic Naan, which was an absolute highlight. The naan was served both crispy and soft, as per my preference, showcasing their ability to customize dishes to the customer's liking. The exceptional customer service at Kitchen India enhanced the entire experience. The waitress were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, even recommending a dessert to complete my meal. Based on their suggestion, I tried the Kulfi, a traditional Indian dessert, and it was a perfect 10/10. Creamy, rich, and full of authentic flavors, it was the ideal way to end the meal. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine or looking to explore the vibrant flavors of India, I highly recommend visiting Kitchen India. From the warm hospitality to the delicious dishes, it’s a dining experience you won’t forget!More infoKitchen IndiaPrice: Moderate• Indian• Lambeth•4.2
