- HHowieVIPOrange County •17 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy cousin and I completed the Las Vegas Rock N Roll Half Marathon yesterday and reserved the newly offered Seafood Buffet. We elected for this option since we were staying at Resorts World leading up to the Rock N Roll Running Series festivities. While the race ended in front of the Bellagio and getting back up the northern part of the Strip was difficult, the wait and trek back to the hotel for this restaurant was well worth it. I am very picky with Chinese food since I grew up in Southern California, and many of the places I have studied/trained at did not offer great Chinese food. Obviously, Genting Palace, exceeded my expectations with this buffet offering. I remember sharing with my cousin this was like an AYCE Chinese Wedding Banquet. The buffet included a seafood bar with king crab (cut), oysters, prawns, and steamed snails, while the hot bar included salt and pepper lobster, braised short rib, steam clams, fried noodles/rice, and the best part: peking duck and roasted pork belly. Would have appreciated Cantonese style steamed fish, but we were stuffed! The food was so good and very nostalgic. The service was phenomenal and the wait staff very attentive. For a buffet of this magnitude, less than $80 per person, is a steal.More infoGenting Palace - Resorts World Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Cantonese• The Strip•4.1

They must fly them in daily, and they taste like the ocean - such a treat!!! This night we had the king crab and the sea bass entrees. Perfection! Their sea bass is always moist and delicately prepared with some kind of Asian marinade; I’m guessing they use mirin or sake. I’ve never had better sea bass than here! The king crab is a magnificent presentation and simply divine. Their wines are exceptional, -and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. We decided we’re going to come more often, but we noticed quite a crowd on Thursday night. Hence, book a reservation in advance to ensure you don’t have to wait!More infoAnthony's Prime Steak & SeafoodPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• M Resort•4.4
