- RRitaPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoCannot recommend Fiorino more.Fantastic meal and service. Started with Negronis, Insalata Caterina and Carpaccio. The salad was fresh, the dressing a little briny that paired perfectly with the nuts and cheese. The carpaccio was like butter; the arugula added the peppery punch that balanced the creamy red wine mayo. We then had the Polpo e Nduja which was an absolute treasure. The octopus was the best I have ever had (sorry Nonna). Mind bogglingly tender. Paired with the perfectly rendered porkbelly and slightly bitter rapini. I could have easily eaten 6 more of these and taken some to go. Added the Fritto Misto which I normally would not order but must admit was perfectly seasoned and all components cooked to perfection. The service was timely, professional and friendly. It was a bit loud at first due to a couple of happy large groups (can't really complain about people having a good time) but as those parties left the acoustics improved. Best meal of our trip thus far. Go, you won't regret it.More infoFiorinoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Chinatown•4.6
- SSusanToronto / Ontario •72 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTasty, fresh and authentic Mexican cuisine. Enjoyed the spicy mango margarita! Chips and dips starter was a nice touch and start to a fun evening food experience. Seafood app to share was fresh and tasty. Mains were flavourful and tasty. Taco trio with 3 different pork fillings in corn tortillas was excellent. Enchiladas were flavourful and chicken in house mole was delicious.More infoOpheliaPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Mount Pleasant•4.6
- MMariavipVancouver / British Columbia •27 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 19, 2024Great lunch. Felt rushed - the tone was set upon checking in (with reservations) that our table had a reservation and hour later. I looked on line and there were still availability for reservations every hour after ours. When you are having several courses, the timeline is set by the server who takes our order and the kitchen. Our order was not taken promptly so that at up into one hour lunch. At the the one hour mark, we were not yet finished but there were other table empty and no one waiting at the door. 😡 food was good and have been wanting to eat here for quite sometime. Would I eat here again -yes. Would I make a reservation for lunch - yes but at 2 pm when you know there is no reservations coming in for your table after because I want to enjoy the food and not chow down like I was at a fast food joint.More infoThe Lunch LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Commercial Drive•4.7

Warm atmosphere, friendly service. No better place on a cold wet November night. Thank You!More infoIrish HeatherPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Chinatown•4.7
- AAbarVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 9, 2023My friends and I had such a great time at Calabash! The food was delicious - we shared the veggie curry (which comes with fragrant rice, a beautiful salad and plantains), a side of roti and the coconut dumplings with mango butter (to die for!). The spicy plantain margaritas were amazing - our server added a special touch for us, so that made us feel pretty special. The staff were all so kind. After we left, we went back for dancing later. They played great music and it was a wholesome, fun vibe. The place is highly secure. We felt very safe inside despite it being in the DTES area.More infoCalabash BistroPrice: Moderate• Caribbean• Gastown•4.5
