Best Authentic Restaurants in Champlin

Delicious food, cozy setting, wonderful, friendly service. Excellent value! One of our favorite restaurants.

I have been waiting for this night for what seems like FOREVER… FINALLY a high-end steakhouse in Blaine 🙌🤌 And it was EVERYTHING we were hoping for. Great vibe. Great service. Excellent food. We had the 8 oz. Filet, Crab-Crusted Sea Bass, Loaded Hashbrowns & Bread Appetizer (with honey butter) topped off with a refreshing Old Fashioned. 🤤 Overall I give the entire experience a 9.5 out of 10. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Cannot freaking wait for the rooftop in the summer!

Cute place with a nice atmosphere. The food (shrimp alfredo) was fabulous and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. (I forgot her name) We will definitely return!!

The food was delicious. The guys with the meat and serving us were great. The Maple Grove Rodizio is a great place to eat. If your in the area stop in and get your meat sweats on. So good.

Food was great as always. We were seated next to a large group, which made it more difficult to converse throughout our meal. We had to ask our server for the margaritas we ordered, since they still hadn’t arrived by the time we got our food (which was very quick!). She returned to tell us that our drinks had been made and sent to another table, so I’m not sure what would have happened if I hadn’t asked about them. She didn’t check in on us at all throughout the meal, and I had to flag her down to ask for water refills while we waited for our drinks. To compensate us for the delay, she brought out a complimentary fried ice cream dessert for us to share, which we appreciated. Once we finished with our meal, we waited for about 30 minutes for our checks, with our server saying “I suppose you two want your checks, huh?” We paid promptly but realized that our cards had been swapped. Luckily our totals were within a dollar of each other, so we didn’t need to have it corrected. As we were leaving at 8:30, we discovered the restaurant closed at 8:00. Our server was just not in any rush and was inattentive to us. I’m not sure if she was just having a bad night, or was very new to the job, but if I had to base my experience just on this one visit, I wouldn’t be back. However, Rojo is one of my favorite restaurants, and will give this experience a pass.
