- SShizukaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •42 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWonderful service and the food was excellent. There are more favorites for me to order now: The coal fired I dishes really shine. The burger is always consistently great, and their avocado and shrimp salad is my favorite. The mushroom lasagna I ordered today is my new favorite. So light and elegant but so much depth of flavor. Scallops are always the best - my daughter who orders scallops everywhere she goes said that it was one of the best that she has had. The chicken was not done completely a small part of it was still a bit raw, and the swordfish was a bit tough. But all the sides were perfectly done. Hash browns and sweet potatoes are a must. The carrots were packed with flavor. The service was excellent.More infoAda's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town Alexandria•4.7

Very reasonably priced food and good atmosphere. Enjoyed the music playlist too!More infoMurphy's Grand Irish PubPrice: Moderate• European• Old Town Alexandria•4.7
- LLauraWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe chose Vaso's for lunch as we were in the mood for warm Mediterranean food due to the rainy cold weather and we were glad we did! We really enjoyed the triple dip with pita - especially the tzatziki (which the server told us was made in house) appetizer. For lunch, we ordered the special (gnocchi with pesto) and the classic Greek platter - and needed boxes to take home what we could not finish. Our server was very kind and attentive, and the busser ensured that our water glasses were always full. We were glad that we had lunch at Vaso's and intend to eat there again soon.More infoVaso's Mediterranean BistroPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Alexandria•4.6
- MMarkVIPWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024Wonderful small restaurant in Old Town Alexandria with great food and good service, but with a huge caveat. Portions are a little small for the price being paid … but my major complaint is the ridiculous noise level, especially for a place called “the Study“. No noise absorbing materials, such as carpets, curtains or ceiling tiles. This has to be one of the noisiest small places I’ve ever dined at. This is my second time and nothing has changed. As a local resident, I will not be back, nor will I recommend this place.More infoThe StudyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.9
- KKatieUtah •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 6, 2024We had a Great dinner there for my birthday. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Indian Salad, Bhaingan Bharta, Aloo Gobi, Garlic Naan. It was WAY too much food for 2 of us but I wanted to try a bunch of my favorites. Everything came out hot (except the salad of course!) and tasted wonderful. We got “medium” spicy level and I felt we could have easily gone to “hot”. The staff was wonderful and also gave me a sweet birthday treat at the end. If we end up back in Alexandria we’d definitely go back.More infoNamaste' JalsaPrice: Moderate• Indian• Alexandria•4.3
