EVO, short for evolution, represents a dream inspired by my mother to bring the familiar feeling of family to you, by showcasing my Italian home-style cooking from the freshest ingredients incorporated into my family’s recipes that have been passed down from many generations. My Sicilian mother and grandparents raised me to respect the heritage and tradition of the Italian culture. The draw of family brought me to south Florida where I opened Evo to continue to share my family’s secret recipes and the warmth of the Italian way of living. Through hard work and perseverance I climbed the ranks of some of the most well respected and popular restaurants in New York so that I can bring you Evo. So please come and join us. This was our first visit to EVO’s. We had a very enjoyable dinner. Loved the menu and the wine list. The dining room was nicely decorated. We even left room for a cannoli!

Wine glasses are excessively large and serving of wine is average. Food was okay but prices were ridiculous. The buratta appetizer was 30$ for a piece of buratta, four slices of tomatoes and two peppers. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant with a well behaved baby and still were given dirty looks from many for our 5 month old making noises occasionally. All in all would not return due to the astronomical price and decent food. there are better options in the area

Always a pleasure dining at EVO. In a Wednesday night the restaurant was packed at 6:00 pm. Service was excellent as was our food.

Our server Sam was fabulous!!! Meatballs, beet salad, and shrimp parm were our favorite dishes of the evening. New favorite restaurant.

The noise level was high - food was delicious but difficult ti have a conversation with snyonr at your table ... thr acoustics need to be addresed!
