EVO, short for evolution, represents a dream inspired by my mother to bring the familiar feeling of family to you, by showcasing my Italian home-style cooking from the freshest ingredients incorporated into my family’s recipes that have been passed down from many generations. My Sicilian mother and grandparents raised me to respect the heritage and tradition of the Italian culture. The draw of family brought me to south Florida where I opened Evo to continue to share my family’s secret recipes and the warmth of the Italian way of living. Through hard work and perseverance I climbed the ranks of some of the most well respected and popular restaurants in New York so that I can bring you Evo. So please come and join us. Wow, what another perfect culinary, dining experience! The decor is very classy and elegant. We started with The amazing, Nancy Meatballs absolutely delicious. Then we enjoyed the arugula salad, the toasted pinenuts, and watermelon kick it up to a new level. One of us had the short rib, full of rich flavor and tenderness. Another one of us had the amazing veal Parmesan absolutely heavenly. I have been to EVO on several occasions, and never can get beyond the wonderful Italian dishes. But tonight I stepped out and went for the 45 day dry aged prime ribeye. And let me tell you it was an excellent decision. As it was one of the best steaks I have ever had in my entire life. The broccoli rob and asparagus were both delicious. Let me tell you that Melissa always has her staff running on all cylinders lacking for nothing. Service could not be any better.

visiting Evo was truly our pleasure. Everybody was on point friendly, clean very nice service and the food was delicious. my boyfriend and I plan on going back.

This was our first visit to EVO’s. We had a very enjoyable dinner. Loved the menu and the wine list. The dining room was nicely decorated. We even left room for a cannoli!
