We’ve been going there since the opened. Today we walked in they were empty The day before Christmas. Once we sat down my husband and I and our three sons we were told it was a prefix menu at $155 or you could have the $255 those were your only options. We decided to stay because we are nostalgic. After a two hour lunch and the kids were starving because the food was so minimal. I canceled our reservations for the next three days. Love the place love the service, but the menu was ridiculous and for $800 Not want to complain, but until they redo not going back. Definitely do not waste your time on this prefix menu. It was nice but …. No thank you. I did ask the manager what was up with the new menu … She told me to go to Montana Jack’s that might be more our style … I was a little sad by her comment because I am a local and been to Montana Jack’s many times but we do like a special occasion everyone for a while. Just seemed a little rude, but that’s OK like I say service is amazing ambience terrific. We will wait till they work out their kinks before we go back.

The new menu was amazing! Great execution on all the items in our six course tasting. Our favorites surprised us: the burrata & beats and the turbot en croute! The burrata and pesto was creative and playful, and the turbot was technical perfection: the crispiest we’d ever had. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had a window seat with a beautiful view of the mountains. Well worth the price and time out of our ski day.

The new menu situation is not conducive to a ski culture - no one has 2 hours to stop and eat a 7 course menu - that’s a dinner thing - not to mention if you come with a family of 4 - so 2 kids and 2 adults - to spend $800 on lunch between 4 meals and drinks for adults is crazy

Please note they have changed how they do their menu for al a carte to prefix. Was pricey before, now it is REALLY expensive. Also if you do not have adventurous eaters this is not the place for you.

Food amazing! Ambiance amazing! Service amazing! Only critique was the use of the bar area as a hot cocoa stop for kids in the evening. Was slightly noisy with kids running around during dinner. What was ordered: Leek & Cauliflower Veloute - 3/5 Elk Tartar - 5/5 - Would order every time! Duck egg raviolo - 4/5 Foraged Mushroom Risotto - 5/5 Five Grain Duck Breast - 5/5 Tournedos de Bison - 4/5 - Foie gras was unnecessary and extra mushrooms would have paired better Hazelnut Sphere - 3/5 - Chocolate was too thick to break in parts and not enough ice cream, but the chocolate soil was delectable. Panna Cotta - 5/5 - Most adventurous item we tried on the menu. Everything on this dish complemented each other rather than fighting for power.

Let me start with the highlights: the food was absolutely delicious and our service was top notch. However, we are very disappointed with the changes to the dining menu. We were told it will be the same format for lunch. Diners are required to choose a 4 or 6 course meal and pay minimum $155 apiece (the 4-course price) before gratuity and beverages. While the food was superb, the main course was the same size as the first and second courses, meaning the bison filet was about 3 oz. We left after our meal feeling like we had eaten a semi-light dinner. For the price, we would expect to feel full… possibly overstuffed. We are locals that bring our visitors to Everett’s frequently - we (and they) expect a Montana-sized meal, not something you would experience on the California coast. Importantly: We, like a few others, had our child with us - there was no menu or offer of food that would suit her. I could maybe see why Everett’s wanted to elevate the dining experience at night, but they have effectively alienated the population attending the Enchanted Forest and any others that want lunch during the ski day. We were semi-regular lunch diners and occasional dinner diners and now will not be going back as long as the menu stays the way it is currently set.

6-Course Chef's Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing on the top of a mountain? Yes, please! Fantastic experience. Each dish was perfectly paired with a wine to accentuate both food and wine. Couldn't pick a favorite because each dish stood out on its own as a great dish. Staff was wonderful. Attentive but not hovering. Great atmosphere and the location couldn't be beat.

Food this year is outstanding to support the new format. Make sure you plan enough time. Allow at least 90 mins for the 4 courses. Hopefully they will introduce a two or three course menu option as the season progresses. Very good with dietary restrictions also (esp Vegan) provided they know in advance.
