              Celebrating 2 birthdays & a 56th wedding anniversary with family, we made reservations with Open Table. I did need to change something on our reservations & tried many times to call the restaurant. The voice mail box would not accept messages. I finally got through to someone at the restaurant the day of our reservation. Our server was wonderful, thorough, friendly & very helpful. She acknowledged all the celebrations as did the gentleman who seated us. Salad bar was wonderful, filet was tender & tasty, chicken & ribs were good & the macadamia nut crusted fish was wonderful. There was a special not on the menu & not offered initially that was coconut shrimp. Only when my Sister asked about the appetizer vs the dinner was she told about it. She ended up getting it & loved it. Our hula pie celebration was delicious too. Overall a wonderful way to celebrate anything or even nothing. We were happy to see 2 different cruise ships pull out of port from where we sat - fascinating.

              We love Dukes. Had ribs and chicken. Wife had steak. Both excellent. Must have cocktails. We brought wine $20 corkage ( reasonable). Service is always perfect. The restaurant is a slower pace compared to Honolulu or Maui.

              We love Duke’s, and the Kauai location is our favorite. The salad bar! The muffins! We went there twice this week. Excellent service and fantastic food.

              Went here on our last day of family vacation. Even though we couldn't get in for sunset (make your reservation well in advance!), it was still a beautiful setting and a wonderful meal.

              We had a wonderful experience at Duke’s with friends. The setting is beautiful, the food was great-loved having a salad bar option, and our server was amazing. We will definitely be back!

              We have been to this restaurant several times when we have visited Kaua’i . I always thought it must be just me, as I have never liked the food. It is basic at best and really not appealing. I asked my husband if he liked his food and he said you don’t come here for the food, you come here for the view. Lol I guess he’s right.
