   We love Dukes! However, gave a low score for service because it took a really long time for our food to be served. A really big table was served first and that’s what put food for our party of two behind. I was also brought the wrong entree I didn’t order. I didn’t say anything to the server because we had already waited a long time. Also, make the Hula Pie gluten free by using gluten free cookies for the crust.

   It was our first time dining here and it won’t be the last. The venue was great and we were seated outside with a great sunset view. The wait staff was friendly and efficient although our drinks arrived shortly after our appetizers. I believe it was due to a busy bar as I saw the same for other tables. The food was great- crab and hazelnut rangoons with plum sauce was our appetizer, followed by a beet and goat cheese salad for me and Caesar salad for my husband. Main entrees were delicious- fresh baked fish and seafood risotto. We did not have room for dessert but looked longingly at other diner’s choice of the Hula pie. Great place to eat!

   Great dinner last night at Dukes. The kids split the chicken and ribs platter and it was yummy for the non seafood eaters. Great drinks presented in a fun day, live music but not too loud.

   Duke’s is one of our favorites in Hawaii. It did not disappoint! Our server, Ruben, was attentive and very informative about the real Duke. He shared interesting facts about him and gave us practice pronouncing Duke’s last name properly. The seafood salad was fresh and tasty. The hostess let us sit in a booth which is not typical for lunch time. Lauren, the manager on duty, was friendly and also informative. An absolutely perfect time at Duke’s! Mahalo🌴👍👏🌴

   The atmosphere was very nice and our table was ready promptly. The server was nice. Food was just ok. Fish was very overcooked and not fresh tasting.

   I have to say that I have been here with my family on many occasions and have always enjoyed the food. This time around something was off with the food. I always have the fish tacos. My daughter had the Korean bbq tacos. The fish tacos were bland and cold. My daughter’s food was cold as well. Our server seemed overwhelmed and very apologetic for his service. The price of the items were over 25 dollars which would be worth it if the food was good. Not sure we will return to this Dukes as it appears the quality has diminished. This place is convenient if you are staying at the resort or nearby, however if you have a car I think it would be worth going somewhere else for good food

   Have not been here in years. Glad I had a reservation. Had an excellent table looking out at the beach. Bit noisy because of live music but did tone down during our meal. Fish is always excellent. Had baked fish which was ono that evening. Waiter Michael was very attentive.

   Wait time perfect, our server was great ono fish dish a little under seasoned but still delish. Kids chicken strips a bit over but they still devoured :) and of course the hula pie was the highlight for the kids!!
