   Our initial interaction with the host was positive. We were moved to a quieter, more comfortable table when we requested it. However, after that it went down hill. Our waiter was disinterested and inattentive. Our drinks took forever. The salads were good but the entrees took so long that we ended up leaving to search for another restaurant. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, the bathroom needed attention, paper towels everywhere!

   Amazing atmosphere, sat outside by the fire on a chilly night. Very romantic. Our server Michelle was very attentive, great personality. Michelle was on top of recommendations on what food paired well with our bottle of wine. Excites to come back again and sit at the piano bar.

   Made a reservation, which they accepted. Showed up and was told our name would be put on a waiting list as if we just showed up off the street. The host at the host table was rude and barely spoke a word. Did not say I’m sorry but…. Just gave zero cares for us or anyone else waiting at the host table. It was as if these parties waiting to be seated weren’t worth his time and he kept walking away. Just an unwelcoming jerk. To top it off the noise inside was not ‘energetic’ it was horrendous with the tables crammed next to each other. I’ve eaten here before and something g has changed.

   We have patronized Djons many times over the last 10 years. It is always wonderful. But this time stands out. For the first time, we had the privilege of being seated on the upper deck patio, to dine as we enjoyed one of the spectacular sunsets that Melbourne Brach offers up. That setting combined with outstanding food and service made for a most enjoyable evening. This restaurant is a standout locally. You cannot go wrong. Thank you Djons and to the GM who has retuned after many years, who made this evening happen.

   Beautiful location, attentive staff, quality food, very pricey, especially the cocktails (for the amount of buzz they put in the glass). You can run up a bill quickly, so it better be a special occasion.  Unlike Gibson‘s or Perry’s in Chicago you won’t end up with extra food.

   Djon's Steak and Lobster House is in a beautiful old house, across from a park and near a pier, perfect for strolling and watching the sun set. The food was delicious, well prepared and served hot. We ordered a hamburger, lobster ravioli, salmon salad and roasted chicken. The service was excellent. The bar was beautiful and had a delightful piano player. In back, the music was too loud and had an annoying, repetitive base line. It ruined the ambience. They were kind enough to turn it down. The outside patio was beautiful with a fire pit and heaters for warmth.

   A true dining experience. Excellent service, elegant dining and the food is wonderful. Djon's never disappoints. A true gem in Melbourne Beach. Not our first and certainly not our last time here. Definitely recommend.

   On checking in with our reservation it appeared that we were placed at a table if we had none . I asked to be moved to another location the hostess responded that table was reserved already . I responded I made my reservation two days ago . So my wife and I sat down. Waiter finally came over to the table and Apologized for not coming over as he was not told the table was occupied . Overall experience was positive be aware it’s over priced .

    I’m not sure why we were treated so poorly this visit. We have eaten here many times in the past under the same conditions (ordered drinks and burgers for Happy Hour). First, our reservation was “lost” and there was no table for us. It was then “found” when I was not ok with that. It was easy to overlook that. We ordered medium rare burgers and they arrived well done. We were told they were that way because the meat was “oxidized”. Huh?? We sent them back. Our new burgers arrived in to go boxes. I’m not sure why and they were again over cooked. We sort of choked them down. We were offered the told by our server that the table next to us had an issue also so sorry about that. Never once did the manager come over. What a shame. Probably won’t be back for a long time. I don’t want to be cranky but what a challenging evening that cost a lost of $$ for over cooked meat and soggy fries.
