   Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for any restaurant before. My wife and I eat out three times a week four times a week for dinner and have a pretty good handle on what to expect when donning out. We also both worked in the restaurant industry as servers and bartenders while in college, so we are sensitive in understanding what one should expect at a resturant. My wife and I made a reservation for dinner at Dizz’s. I had not eaten there for maybe twenty years. It was the worse restaurant experience we’ve had in memory. The service, the quality of the food, the atmosphere basically everything was extremely disappointing. We made a reservation for 7:30 in the evening, they seated us at 7:45 as they seemed very busy. Perfectly understandable. While waiting, I ordered my wife a cocktail and myself a sparkling water. The bartender was clearly overwhelmed with customers and was flustered. It took her about 10 minutes to be able to get to me so that I can order and she make the drinks. The drinks taste fine but they were not garnished. Once seated, it took about another 15 minutes for somebody to approach us at the table and bring us menus. We asked for water which took another 10 minutes. Once they brought us the water we finally were able to place our order with the waiter. He was very pleasant while we ordered. After placing an order, it took an overwhelmingly long period of time to get our food. They served us our salads, that were oversaturated with vinegar (it was supposed to have been a poppyseed dressing and it was awful.) It took another 60 minutes for them to bring our entrées. My wife and I were both extremely disappointed in the taste, quantity, presentation of all the entrées. Quite frankly, the food was terrible. Best part of the meal was the bill. Very inexpensive meal. Maybe they should think about raising their prices and increasing the quality of their food and adding servers. Don’t eat here if you want a high-quality meal.

   We have been going to Dizz's for almost 30 years and its never disappointed. Hard to believe that many of the servers are still there delivering the best customer service and food. Always look forward to our visit and never leave disappointed

   We had a great dinner. Chicken Marsala, Sand Dabs, Mahi Mahi were all very tasty. The service was exceptional and we enjoyed the cool vintage atmosphere.

   A wonderful place to have a one-of-a-kind dinner experience. A small shot of vermouth and pate before dinner. Crusty soft bread with your meal. The filet was like butter and the sand dabs were drenched in a delicious butter sauce.

   We were there on NYE so there were a lot of big table parties and so was a bit noisier than it usually is. The scallops and clam appetizers were perfect, as was my filet minon. Her ravioli was tasty but maybe a little bland. Dizz’s is renowned for being quirky and we love that about it!

    We have not dined here in years and we’re so glad we came back! The funky charm of the place with mismatched dishes and pictures of move stars is adorable. The food was wonderful! Good, homely French comfort food. The portions are enormous and easily shared. The service was perfect!! We will be back sooner rather than later!
