Standing Room Only has been a great experience for the two times I’ve been. It’s a unique spot, which is very welcoming and has great drinks. I had a delicious mock tail tonight!

We go to this restaurant before theatre. Always accommodating, delicious food, great service. The dessert is amazing.

Visit our rejuvenated dining room & experience the best Waterloo Region has to offer. Chef Kyle and his team have been dreaming of ways to excite your palate! From Wagyu beef to the freshest fish & local produce, to our multi-course Tasting Menu, we are thrilled to have you back. Benoit, our restaurant manager, continues to build a wonderful selection of wines from around the world, with particular love for France. Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

The food is always delicious. Loved the wild mushrooms bisque followed be the fish cakes. Finished the meal off with delicious sticky toffee pudding. It's a very friendly, quiet place to have lunch.

My husband had the herb crusted cod and a 12 oysters. The oysters were properly shucked and the mignonette sauce was delish. The cod was cooked to perfection. I understand the location will be moving along the grand closer intown this spring. Looking forward to experiencing the new location. A must try restaurant

We loved the decor changes that have been done since our last time at Devlin’s. Serving staff were superb and attentive. The addition of a sommelier to staff is a nice touch and we had a fabulous bottle of wine.

There is a reason this restaurant has been awarded top 100 restaurants in Canada. Chef Joe is a genius in the kitchen - the flavours, the creativity and the plating are done so incredibly well, it’s like art. The service is outstanding, so warm and welcoming. Lucky enough to have been able to visit a handful of times and each time we are blown away.
