This place was a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the walk from intimate space to its delicious food. Everything was perfect. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super funny and had great suggestions. Definitely coming back.

Owner Stu and his team enjoy meats of Europe, the pastas of Italy, and wines from off the beaten track. The restaurant comes together over a love of pork and swill (and country music).

The kitchen team spends afternoons pickling, rolling gnocchi, making focaccia and keeping an eye on our beloved cured meats and pecorino cheese wheels. By nightfall the show is on, the house is full and the atmosphere is swinging.

Great place to eat - food was devine. The cocktails are a little pricey but delicious. The restaurant had a great buzz to it without it being loud. There was band there that was not overpowering and you could still have a conversation. Highly recommend going

Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants.
