The intimate, ultra luxurious and transporting space features a massive overhanging cherry blossom tree, a Japanese craftsmanship-inspired wallpaper screen, a dramatic marble countertop, a 500-years old hinoki wood cutting board, and wall-mounted niches serving as members’ chopstick display.

The ever-changing dishes evolve according to the 72 Japanese micro-seasons, involving the most refined ingredients such as line-caught fish flown in daily, innovative vegetables and condiments, sea urchin from Hokkaido, bluefin tuna from Ehime prefecture, and Sanuki Olive Wagyu from Kagawa prefecture in Japan.

Epic!!! There is no better dining experience in Miami. The food, the service, the intimate atmosphere, I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. Honestly we wanted to stay for the second seating it was so good. Do yourself a favor and book a spot here asap!!

What an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was alive with amazing vibes, soulful music, and an incredible dance show that added so much energy and excitement to the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—it felt like dining among friends. And the food? Absolutely divine! Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. Chef Niven’s dishes incorporate ingredients he grows at Rancho Patel, complemented by vibrant wines and tropical, farm to glass cocktails.

The restaurant features 56 dining room seats, 25 bar seats, and 8 raw bar seats, with a gorgeous display of fresh seafood. Expect to jam to some Manu Chao style music while basking in the vibrant island vibes and flavors. South Beach has been home to Mo since he moved to Miami in 2016, and Paya is his thank-you to the community that supported him through his journey.

Executive Chef Byron Alabado and Executive Sushi Chef Shoyo Iida craft meticulous sushi, fire-cooked street skewers, inventive small plates and large entrees, plus fresh raw bar, ceviches & tiraditos that echo the authenticity of Japan, The Philippines, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Israel and The West Indies.

A 360 degree bar features fresh handcrafted Bichi cocktails, premium Japanese sake, wonderful wines and Champagnes, and an international beer selection. Service was amazing. Giancarlo was excellent and very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Now for the food….. absolutely incredible. Food was amazing. Tried 7 dishes and was very impressed with the quality, freshness, and flavor of the food. 100% would recommend and will be returning regularly.
