Located in the heart of London’s Soho, Dean Street Townhouse is set inside two Georgian buildings and offers an all-day menu with a focus on British classics, including a traditional Sunday roast, English breakfast and afternoon tea.

The dining room and bar feature vintage armchairs, contemporary British art, wooden floors, and an open fire in the parlour, while the front terrace offers views of Soho.

Traditional afternoon tea returns to Dean Street Townhouse. The full tea for £30 includes sandwiches, cakes, scones and your choice tea or coffee, or £43.50 including a glass of Thienot Champagne. Tea is served in our cosy parlour from Monday to Saturday between 2pm and 5pm. For bookings of 5 guests or more, please email restaurant@deanstreettownhouse.com. Please note that we do not accept cash.

Great buzzy place...starter of souffle and rhubarb pie dessert was greart, mains of monkfish not as much. Overall though, great service and ambience and will visit again!

We’ve eaten here many times but yesterday was extremely disappointing. Mainly the service, with forgotten drinks, they didn’t know which burger was which, leaning across the table to serve a plate when there was plenty of room next to me. I could go on. Needless to say we opted to remove the optional service charge. When the manager eventually came over as she realised we weren’t happy she wasn’t bothered in the slightest. Shame on you, perhaps too complacent..!!

Excellent service in a stylish classy environment. The menu is possibly a little limited but the quality and presentation is good. We were sat in a quieter area which suited us well but it was very hot right next to the open fire and my husband and son found the low child height tables very uncomfortable and awkward for eating - probably fine if just drinking/ lounging.

Have been to The Townhouse, a number of times, does not disappoint, food, service, ambience all good, table gets a bit crowded with plates & bowls when having a roast !
