- MMelissaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe first restaurant we’ve been to in a very long time where everything tasted amazing. We had the chilled red wine, bread & butter (omg!!), ahi starter, so unique and so tasty! Cheeseburger, broccolini, steak and fries. Everything was beyond delicious and seasoned so well. Such a unique take on food. The only complaint I have is that they still use seed oils for frying, but other than that, we were beyond impressed with this cute little restaurant with its laidback vibes & big flavorsMore infoEchale EncinitasPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Encinitas•4.7
- SSamanthavipCalifornia Central Coast •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024I recently visited Merenda Wine Bar, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who appreciates quality wine , the staff is friendly and is passionate about sharing it with their guests. The wine selection at Merenda is unique, featuring wines that are grower producer wines, natural, and many are female owned, they feature wines that you won’t find at just any establishment. While some may have noted a corkage fee, it’s essential to understand that when you pay retail price, it feels incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality of the wine . Merenda is primarily a wine bar that serves sharing plates—perfect for pairing with your glass (or bottle!) of wine. I found it ideal to either visit before or after dinner, as the atmosphere is perfect for a lovely pre or post dinner conversation What makes Merenda even more special is it is Opened by a local Oceanside resident, it fills a void in the area—offering something completely unique. Cheers 🍷More infoMerendaPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Oceanside•4.7
- DDavidvipSan Diego •17 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Great food in a really nice neighborhood restaurant. Live music was playing (we were there on a Friday), which was very good, but maybe a little loud. We asked for a table off to the side and it was perfect. If Dolce reads this, our server, Jeff, was excellent. He read the table really well. Right balance of attentiveness and giving us room to chat. Great job.More infoDolcePrice: Moderate• Californian• Rancho Santa Fe•4.7
