Best Wine Bars in Schaumburg

Finally got around to taking my family to Goat and Vine on Thursday and we had a wonderful time. Especially enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer . I had the cod which was very good, but the brussels sprouts were beyond the best. Vanesa was our server and she was very kind and patient with us as we made our choices. In fact, I had such a good time that I was back the next day with friends. We came for the Happy Hour , and the manager was kind enough to find a spot for us in the very crowded restaurant. Again, Vanesa was our server and she was her usual happy helpful polite, self. Yes again to the bruschetta for appetizer. I had the jambalaya, which is always excellent and did not disappoint. It was a perfect evening with friends lots of conversation , very easy to talk to people, and we ended with the wonderful macadamia ice cream dessert. Very large very delicious and certainly will be ordered again. If you think that isn’t enough, I am actually going back in another week with another friend so I to introduce her to my favorite favorite restaurant. The service is impeccable. The manager is very helpful and very involved and the server staff has always been friendly and patient. The food by far is exceptional and oh yeah, I forgot to mention the lemon drop martini is a must have. Highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed on any level

Fabulous experience! The lovely people at the front door greeted us with genuine, bright smiles, setting the tone for our evening. Veronica was fantastic from start to finish. Her enthusiasm in telling us about the specials (Bone-In Filet Oscar-Style—WOW!!) and her casual upsell of house cocktails felt natural and showcased her experience. Veronica’s interaction with our 5-year-old was much appreciated, especially as many servers overlook little ones in nicer restaurants. Mario, our server assistant, was polite, unobtrusive, and always smiling. We also had the pleasure of sharing this experience with Sarah in person—thank you to her for the time and meaningful conversation. Shout out to the culinary team as well; everything we ordered was spot on!

The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We will come back again like we have for the past 6 years at this location in Arlington Hts. and others in Chicagoland.

Food and service were very good - only comment about service is that we felt a bit rushed to leave. Waiter delivered check immediately after we said we did not want dessert and came back a few times to take our payment. We were still finishing a glass of wine at the time. We had Filet which was outstanding and cooked perfectly and the Chilean Sea Bass, which we have had before and is consistently delicious.

Dinner out on Christmas was wonderful. Everything from the menu, atmosphere and a shout out to our waiter, Igor! Wonderful night.
