- BBryanHertfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a celebratory meal for a small group. We were given a nice booth towards the rear of the restaurant. The restaurant was bigger than we were expecting - given the reputation i was wondering on good the food was going to be and we were not disappointed - the food was great. Oysters The rib for starters We shared these with the table just to whet the appetite and the ribs were so tender that even those who are keen on ribs were raving about them. For mains Bone in Rib to share £90 ish, 0.8kilo Ribeye 0.4 kilo Mushrooms Triple cooked chips Pigs blankets Lobster £35 ish 350 grams The chips were great, real triple cooked and did what they said on the tin. The steaks were perfectly cooked at Med-Rare - tender, tasty and melted in the mouth. The lobster was gorgeous and the garlic butter topped it off. We ended with dessert and had Sticky toffee sundae Peanut Butter Short Bread Chocolates All of them were consumed quickly and topped off a great meal. I recommend this for special occasions.More infoHawksmoor Air StreetPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Piccadilly•4.5

The best steak in london, and Knightsbridge branch has such a laid back, friendly service. - DDebbieLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 14, 2024I was looking for somewhere to take two American visitors and decided on this little Italian gem in Charlotte Place. We were warmly welcomed to our table and given a very enthusiastic introduction to the specialities available on the menu. I liked how the ingredients used by Via Emilia are from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and that they take great pride in the quality of their food. We had the meat platter for starters and after that we enjoyed sharing a variety of very tasty pasta dishes, accompanied by a good Sangiovese red wine. The tiramisu dessert was light and delicious. We had great service and all in all it was excellent value for money. We had a lovely evening and can thoroughly recommend this restaurant to others.More infoVIA EMILIA (EX IN PARMA) by Food Roots - FITZROVIAPrice: Moderate• Italian• Fitzrovia•4.5
