- LLauraChicago / Illinois •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a great dinner here for a party of 8 people. We were seated in a corner of the room so it wasn't too loud which was appreciated. The food was delicious and the server, Shelby, was very professional and attentive. This restaurant is not inexpensive but is competitively priced. I really like the atmosphere (warm and cozy), especially in the bar area. It's a great place for a special occasion. I will definitely return and wish it was closer to my house!More infoSeasons 52 - SchaumburgPrice: Expensive• American• Schaumburg•4.8
- RRobertChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were seated right away at our scheduled time, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, she made sure that our appetizers, soup, and the meal were timed perfectly, and followed up to ensure everything was as we ordered. She checked in periodically to make sure all was well and if we required anything additional. All in all, it was a great dining experience.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Downers Grove, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Downers Grove•4.7
- CCynthiaChicago / Illinois •20 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was amazing and the service was great! It did feel like we were at a Cooper's Hawk, though, and not an Italian restaurant. Another thing that was similar to a past Cooper's Hawk experience was that we had to wait 15 minutes with a reservation. The restaurant was fairly empty at 4:00 pm and the hostess told us they're just clearing our table when we checked in right at our reservation time, but we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Not really a big deal, but it's not a pleasant experience when you had a time reserved and you're waiting fairly long to finally be seated. We had the Pasta Fagioli, which was fantastic, and the short rib papardelle and rigatoni alla vodka, both of which were soooo good and light. It didn't feel heavy like normal when eating pasta. The chocolate hazelnut cake and gelato trio was also delicious! Our server, Robert R., was friendly and helpful! He didn't rush us at all and was honest and knowledgeable. The restaurant is in the Oak Brook Mall area, so parking can be a challenge.More infoPiccolo Buco - Oak Brook, ILPrice: Moderate• Italian• Oakbrook Terrace•4.5
- BBarbaraVIPChicago / Illinois •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFinally got around to taking my family to Goat and Vine on Thursday and we had a wonderful time. Especially enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer . I had the cod which was very good, but the brussels sprouts were beyond the best. Vanesa was our server and she was very kind and patient with us as we made our choices. In fact, I had such a good time that I was back the next day with friends. We came for the Happy Hour , and the manager was kind enough to find a spot for us in the very crowded restaurant. Again, Vanesa was our server and she was her usual happy helpful polite, self. Yes again to the bruschetta for appetizer. I had the jambalaya, which is always excellent and did not disappoint. It was a perfect evening with friends lots of conversation , very easy to talk to people, and we ended with the wonderful macadamia ice cream dessert. Very large very delicious and certainly will be ordered again. If you think that isn’t enough, I am actually going back in another week with another friend so I to introduce her to my favorite favorite restaurant. The service is impeccable. The manager is very helpful and very involved and the server staff has always been friendly and patient. The food by far is exceptional and oh yeah, I forgot to mention the lemon drop martini is a must have. Highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed on any levelMore infoGoat & Vine Restaurant + Winery- RosellePrice: Moderate• American• Roselle•4.4
