Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Ditmars Steinway

We went to Fiorello's for a late supper after Lincoln Centre and had a most enjoyable time as usual. I had a selection of antipasto vegetable dishes: the Sicilian eggplant caponata was excellent, full of flavour; the roasted Brussels and the asparagus were also very good, making a tasty, filling and very healthy supper. My guest started with the short rib meatballs which were delicious. Unfortunately the dover sole she wanted was finished. She compromised with the lemon chicken picatta, thinking a similar lemon butter sauce might satisfy her desire, but was somewhat disappointed. Some of the chicken was a little tough and the sauce was very buttery and not lemony enough. We both had our usual desert: the lemon pie, which we love. The bar makes the best mohitos ever, perfectly muddled. Our waiter, Lyndon, was welcoming, cheerful and attentive. All in all a pleasant evening.

Real Lebanese authentic cuisine! The Kebbe nayi was amazing and the kids loved the lamb fasoulia definitely a great spot for families or date night

Our first time Westville UWS dining experience was an all-around joy. The staff were welcoming and friendly and attentive, but not overly so. We enjoyed our turkey burger and hamburger, the former with french fries, the latter with salad.  We loved the space, too:  tastefully but simply decorated. We did not try anything from the bar, but we intend to on our next visit.  The menu offered variety, but not an exaggerated amount of dishes. 

Very fast and attentive service. I was there for lunch and ordered from the vegan menu, the food was excellent.

Fantastic and beloved local restaurant. Love the owner and her family and the food is delicious. Will always come back.
