Best Tapas Restaurants in Chester

Excellent dining experience in every way—warm, inviting ambiance, thoughtful and courteous waitstaff, delicious cuisine, and reasonably priced. Lively bar opposite the dining room for those who want a little more variety, but it’s not excessively noisy. Practically a Westbrook institution—so consistently well done for years.

The overall experience was nice that jazz music was jazzy the tables need to be changed at your knees a lot, but the chairs are very comfy

Some of the tapas, like the grilled octopus and lamb croquettes (a special of the day) were exceptional, and most were very good. Fans of gambas al ajillo may want to skip it, as the shrimp were disappointing. El Pulpo also has many paella options, and the Valenciana was nice. It had a good crust around the edge of the pan and rich flavors.
