- CChloeVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went for my grandmothers 95th birthday this week and everyone was fantastic from the time we walked in. They knew from the reso we were celebrating and they made sure to make her feel special. They even had the whole restaurant sing happy birthday to her. Jorge was a wonderful Chef and so entertaining. The host was super attentive as well. The food was delicious and it may be the best fried rice I’ve ever had at a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant. We had 5 people in our party and everyone had an amazing dinner. We can vouch for the Lobster, beef, shrimp and chicken all was fantastic. Highly recommend. Will be back!More infoMikado - Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & SpaPrice: Expensive• Asian• Puerto Vallarta•4.5

I had two negatives….could have done without the big screen TV’s with sport (does not really fit the elegant interior) and the music was quite loud. That said, our server, Frida, was lovely. We had the duck tacos and serrantino roll, and both were delicious. There were several other dishes we would have tried….the menu is varied but more on the sushi, sashimi side. It was a birthday celebration, and we were treated to tempura Oreos with vanilla ice cream, a dessert that we would never have ordered. But would definitely order in the future. We also ordered the chocolate, caramel, orange cake, which was good but would not repeat. The photos are of the desserts. We will be back. Our meal with drinks and tip was $64 USD for the two of us.More infoParrotfish - Zona RománticaPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Puerto Vallarta•4.3
- DDoriVIPWisconsin •59 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 31, 2025What a gorgeous restaurant with fabulous food and excellent service! We started with cocktails (mojito and cadillac margarita) which were good and had the wagyu gyoza and tempura shrimp for appetizers. Both appetizers were wonderful, perfectly prepared. I had the Teppanyaki, a composed dish of grilled vegetables and shrimp, which was great and made me feel healthy without sacrificing anything. :) My husband had 2 specialty rolls which were gorgeous and tasty - full of outstanding flavors and textures. Our waiter Cesar was super friendly and funny and just the right level of attentive. The restaurant is so beautiful! A truly elevated Japanese experience.More infoYeo Zona RománticaPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Puerto Vallarta•4.7
- CCrispinMiami - Dade •18 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2025Absolutely the best sushi in Puerto Vallarta, rivals even my favorite high-end sushi restaurants in New York City and London and San Francisco, at a fraction of those prices! Yes, it is expensive for here, but it’s the real deal and so fresh and so many wonderful options to add on– amazing bartender, and mixologist kind service all around excellent experience.
