Best Steakhouses in Ybor City

It was the best filet mignon w truffle butter steak we’ve ever had, along with the braised mushroom. That sweet potatoe bread with the Japanese herb butter was heavenly!! We also appreciated Joe’s service and the hostess, from Germany’s extra service too. She went over and beyond and picked out our booth table to make it special for us for my wife’s birthday. Great experience from start to finish! All servers were excellent and personable! Hosts were great at accommodating requests. Food was excellent and we loved the new space! Such a beautiful new restaurant! Will be back!

Wow...what a place! Meat Market was packed on Friday night so I was glad we had reservations. The front staff was super friendly, even though they were completely slammed. Our reservation was right on time and our server, Holly, was lovely! Even though the place was packed, she treated us like she didn't have anywhere else to go - answering questions, helping with selections and taking our order. The food was fabulous too! I look forward to going back soon!

We thought this place deserved 5 stars. We were a little late to our 5:30 reservation… about 20 minutes. When we got there the hostess took our name and we were seated within 5 minutes. We started with the Sangria and the Basil Basilica and both were fantastic. For appetizers we had the ricotta spread (which was very good but a little too much ricotta cream), the octopus (very good) and the wagyu carpaccio (which was my favorite!). My boyfriend had the chicken for the entree and I had the Mafaldine. Both were absolutely amazing and will be going back!

My boyfriend and I come here every Christmas dinner. The food never disappoints and the service is always excellent. I feel like there’s always staff to make sure you are served and taken care of. I wish that when you sit down, they ask your meat and temperature preference right away. That way, when the meat comes around, they have your steak available. I wasn’t able to try all of the meats because a lot of it was well done when I preferred medium. For the price, I feel like you should get exactly what you came for. Which is good, quality meat at the temperature you love. The salad bar was excellent, so much to chose from. We enjoyed their traditional Brazilian cocktail Caipirinha, strong but sweet. For dessert we had the caramel fudge cheesecake, which was decadent. We definitely will be back next Christmas, and hopefully they make those improvements by then. I still give them 5/5 as this is overall a great restaurant option.
