Best Steakhouses in West Phoenix

We recently ate at The Capital Grille to celebrate Christmas 2024; it came after viewing The Nutcracker at Symphony Hall. It was a perfect meal for a perfect day. Our server, Rachel, was attentive and the servers around her displayed exceptional teamwork. It’s always a treat to eat at The Capital Grille.

From beginning to end, our experience with Steak44 was amazing. We celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and they treated us as if we were the only couple in the whole restaurant, despite the moderate amount of noise. It all began a month prior when I was contacting the team to plan out our evening, asking for seating that could facilitate an intimate setting for my wife and I. We found out that they ended up sitting us in a booth that had a view of the kitchen! Hazel even followed through with placing rose petals on our table prior to our arrival. Made me feel like I was husband of the year planning this out lol Food was spectacular as expected, and our waiters (Nick and Giovanni) assured that our drinks were full and made recommendations for our entrees. My wife got the Scottish Salmon and I got the 45 day dry aged rib eye w/ 3 sides. Our eyes got bigger than our stomachs and we ended up taking a lot of food home, and they even comped our desert! All in all the team performed amazingly that night, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Husbands, take note: with a little bit of planning they can help you take a dinner night out into stories your wife will brag about to her friends. Absolutely wonderful! Our waiter was so attentive and kind. We celebrated our anniversary and he made it extra special with congratulations and a sweet treat. His food recommendations were spot on. We are definitely going back.

This is our go-to pre show restaurant and it never disappoints. Nice variety of classic Italian fare and meats and wines by the glass.

We had a wonderful dinner, honoring the life of our daughter, Gillian Ragan, who was killed by a 14-year-old boy on December 9, 2023. Everything was wonderful however, the only issue was anyone that passed our table ended up, hitting the back of my chair over and over again as well as my head. Though I know a restaurant could get very busy, servers must slow down when they are around larger tables as to avoid hitting their customers. Our server David was remarkable however he had so many tables that we ended up having to wait much longer to order our food.
