    This review is for January 6th, 2025. As stated in the rating, Pappa's Steakhouse is a 5-Star restaurant...I believe it's because they earn it! Attention to every detail is apparent from the generous (and scrumptious) appetizer (Crab bisque this evening), to the chocolate-coated spoon & fresh-baked almond cookie that came with our Cappuccino. And if you've ever had the urge for a Veal Chop, this is the place to go! Finally, a five-star review wouldn't be complete without a shout-out to the pastry/dessert chef at Pappa's. Their desserts are original & creative, and even the Key Lime pie is stamped with a unique Pappa's presentation, and it is possibly the best in Houston! Celebrate a birthday, and maybe get treated to some of the best chocolate-covered strawberries you've ever had as well! Thanks to all the servers and staff for making this birthday celebration a memorable one!

    Great experience. Very high quality food and some unique combinations like the octopus which was amazing. The staff is extremely professional, our waitress Summer was very knowledgeable and very professional. The Sommelier was also extremely knowledgeable and selected a great Chianti to pare with our meal.

    Christmas Eve dinner with friends in a full dining room and nothing….i mean nothing went sideways. The hostess, bartender waiter and management. Everything was perfect. First time to Morton’s downtown Houston and I will recommend and return. Thank you for memorable evening.
