    Went on Thanksgiving and though we did not have turkey for dinner the experience was fantastic and the service was just wonderful. Great food, friendly staff, what more could you want. Our table was perfect in a quieter area surrounded by glass, perfect for my hard of hearing father who is 95 years old. Just the perfect evening!

    A meal at Bob’s is simply an extraordinary dining experience. From the rack of lamb to the rib-eye steaks, everything was prepared to perfection. You cannot go to Bob’s without having the creamed corn. It is legendary and ultra delicious. Finally, the carrot cake and cheesecake were to die for. Our waiter, Aiden, was simply magnificent. He was kind, cordial, and extremely attentive. On our ride home, we discussed when we would return!

    First time eating out for Thanksgiving!! Wow the fam with an overwhelming but wonderfully tasty experience. The salad bar is a small buffet of itself with fresh salmon, cheeses, cold cuts, soups and tender veggies to start. The table staples of cheesy bread puffs, garlicky mashed potatoes and fried sweet plantains offset the parade of freshly cooked and seasoned meats from the kitchen. Fruity Caprinha cocktails to decadent affogato with Godiva liqueur. Yum!!!!

    Excellent venue for lunch with view of Aviara Golf Course in foreground and Batiquitos Lagoon beyond, very scenic. Dependent on weather, outdoor seating would be the best option! Richard Blais' preparations for lunch for our party of 4 was delicious! I plan to return for dinner as today's lunch was our first visit to Ember & Rye. My wife and I have followed Richard Blais since he first came to San Diego. We enjoyed his fine dining presentations many years when he was Chef/Owner at Juniper & Ivy. We look forward to many more meals at Ember & Rye!

    We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here. Service was good and the food was amazing. I had the chicken with sun dried tomatoes and rice pilaf. It looked like chicken parmigiana and I was disappointed but it tasted nothing like chicken parmigiana. The cheese, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and chicken were an amazing combination! The serving was plentiful too. My husband ordered the 16oz ribeye and onion rings and both were delicious. The ribeye was so tender and the onion rings were tempura style, so good! We had complimentary dessert of 1/2 slice of mud pie and it was good too. Our 40th anniversary celebration dinner will be a treasured memory.
