Best Steak Restaurants in Palace Station

Magy and I really enjoyed our Valentines last night with Junior as our server. The rose petals on the table was a real hit (added charge). We had balcony seating (not rotating) and it was actually preferred by us with a nice constant view overlooking the strip. Ambience and noise level was perfect allowing for a more intimate conversation. Service was excellent and constant - food was perfect and the steaks we ordered cooked perfectly along with asparagus and brussel sprouts. Would highly recommend for a romantic evening

Everything was great except the waitress. She never explained anything to us about the menu or beverage list until we asked her. That was the only thing that was upsetting 😡 to us.

My colleague and I had breakfast here on our last day in town before going home. He had heard lovely things from other attendees at the conference we were at, and since we already had dinner plans on Wednesday night, we decided to eat here for breakfast. I’m glad we made a reservation, because by the time we left the place was packed. Our waitress was fantastic, she even brought me a glass of ice so I could drink my Diet Coke. (Only Pepsi at this resort). I had one of the crêpes of the day, bananas, foster, drizzled with Nutella. And my colleague also had crêpes of the day, but he selected raspberry and lemon curd.  it is a sizable plate of food, I was amazed that my colleague finished his, I could only get halfway. We also both had a coffee drink, I requested a vanilla latte and he had regular coffee, both were outstanding. And our waitress was the absolute best! If you are in Las Vegas and need a breakfast place, this is absolutely five stars.

Flew in from Idaho just to go for my husband's birthday dinner and it was wonderful. We will definitely be doing this again. We had 3 different people helping at our table which was nice, made us feel special 😊. John, Ignacio & Lupe (she had awesome Iris Apfel glasses) were a dream team! The wine sommelier came over to chat shortly after we sat down and helped us make a decision on our wine for the evening. Definitely not an inexpensive dinner but we actually ended up spending less than I thought so that's a small win. It was about $400 for two of us. We got the rib steak for two, Caesar salad, baked potato with their famous bacon on top, a bottle of wine and pecan pie. All shared of course. If anything, I think they should have a larger selection of moderately priced wines. We had to do quite a bit of digging to find a bottle that was under $200. While I get it that it's an upscale place not everybody wants to pay more for their bottle of wine than they are for their food.

This was our first time at the Golden Steer. There were six in our party and we all had a great time. From the greeting from the hostess to our wait staff, we were greeted with smile and a no problem attitude. The table side Caesar salad was absolutely delicous and my filet mignon was cooked to perfection. And I cannot rave enough on how delicous the special mac and cheese was and I am not a fan of mac and cheese but this changed my mind. The kahlua creme brulee was the best way to end our meal. I highly recommend the Golden Steer for food and service. April
