Best Steak Restaurants in Idaho Springs

Had one of the best meals here - would highly recommend the swordfish. Whatever sauce the chef used was divine. The restaurant is housed in a historical Victorian home. Small and homey. Tables are pretty close together so don’t expect 100% private conversations but the vibe is nice.

Fabulous birthday lunch. We each ordered something different. The birthday girl really enjoyed her hamburger. The second gal liked the walleye, but thought a lot of breading. My chicken salad was good, but preferred last year’s preparation more. The apple pie was a surprise winner, as we weren’t sure about the addition of bacon.

Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment we were seated to the time we walked out, everything was exceptional. Jason was an attentive and wonderful host, and Zach went above and beyond as our server and bartender. The food was fantastic—every dish a standout. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the whipped potatoes were absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was flavorful and just the right portion for a starter, but my personal favorite was the wedge salad—the blue cheese dressing was so incredible I wish I could’ve taken a bottle home! The gnocchi was rich and flavorful, with a generous portion size. My only suggestion would be a little more brown butter sauce to balance its heaviness, but overall it was fantastic. The ambiance was impressive, making it a perfect setting for a birthday dinner. Since it was a Monday night, we didn’t experience the noise of a busy evening, but the atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. Highly recommend for a special night out!

The wait staff was great but it felt a bit rushed as we barely put our forks down from one course before the next one was put in front of us. Definitely not dining. Otherwise it was great!

Such an amazing experience!! Everyone that works here was exceptional!! I can’t wait to come back. Best steak I’ve had in a long time!!! A Denver must eat!!!
